Stan Helsing, jehož největší problém tkví v tom, že si ho všichni pletou s o něco slavnějším Van Helsingem, pracuje v půjčovně videokazet. Při odjezdu na Halloween párty dostane od šéfa pár kazet s úkolem doručit je téměř na druhý konec města. Stan, ač nerad, kazety bere s sebou do auta a s trojicí kumpánů je jede doručit. A tím to vše začíná. Film, který se snaží parodovat nejlepší horory posledních let. Bláznivé šílenství v městské čtvrti, kde se všichni bojí zůstat po půlnoci a také se bojí usnout. Největší záporáci všech dob na ně totiž čekají, aby jim ze života udělali peklo. Peklo opravdu nastane, ale pro všechny zúčastněné.
