Vincent trpí Tourettovým syndromem. Po smrti matky na něj jeho otec, úspěšný politik, nemá čas a tak jej dá do psychiatrické léčebny. Vincent se zde spřátelí s Alexandrem a Marií a společně se jim podaří uprchnout. Mají jediný cíl, dostat se do Itálie k moři. Pro Vincenta je tato cesta obzvlášť důležitá, má u sebe totiž dózu s matčiným popelem a chce jí u moře splnit její poslední přání. Podaří se mu uniknout otci i svým psychickým démonům?
